Softball Excels In the Classroom

BARNESVILLE, GA. -- During the fall 2017 semester, the GSC softball team reported a 3.31 team grade point average (GPA). It is the second highest team GPA in program history according to Ally Hattermann, Gordon State College Head Softball Coach.

Of the team's 21 student-athletes on the roster during the fall semester, 15 reported individual GPAs of 3.0 or higher, including five Highlanders with a perfect 4.0 GPA (freshman Addy Allegretti, freshman Taylor Dykes, freshman Maddie Green, freshman Cheyanne Mosteller and sophomore Shelby Sims).

Gordon has begun their preseason practices and will kick off the season on February 2nd in the Gulf Coast State College Invitational in Panama City Beach, FL.
